Auto-K Heat-resistant paint 300°C
The heat-resistant special paint for a temperature range of 80 to 300°C. This can beautify parts that are significantly more challenged by temperatures, i.e. in the engine area, parts of the exhaust system or at the air cooler, etc. The paint only hardens by slowly heating the painted object.
Properties
Application:
- Parts subject to high temperatures on the vehicle (e.g. in the engine compartment, on the exhaust pipe system on bikes).
Product benefits:
- Heat resistant 80-300 °C
- Durable; weather resistant; resistant to petroleum
- Free of heavy metals: no lead, cadmium, chrome
Binding agent base:
- Silicone resin
Spray coating:
- For 1 cross-coats: 15-20 μm dry film thickness
Drying times:
- Dust dry: after approx. 15-20 min.
- Fast to handling: after 1-2 hour
- Dry hard: after 6-8 days
Can be painted over:
- With itself at any time
Paint structure:
- No pre-treatment with primers and no follow-up treatment with other top coats or clear lacquers necessary

NOTE: Do not spray on surfaces coated with synthetic resins as the paint may lift.
CAUTION! Clean the valve after use. Turn the container upside down and spray for about 5 seconds until the valve is empty.
